Since 1919, The New School has been a pioneer in creating an educational experience that conjoins learning and doing, research and action to prepare its various constituencies for citizenship in a global society. We offer a Bachelor's Program for adults; M.A. in Media Studies; M.F.A. in Creative Writing; M.A./M.S. in International Affairs, and hundreds of adult and continuing education courses, many unique to The New School, most offered to both non-credit students and undergraduates. The New School for General Studies, founded as the New School for Social Research, is today one of eight schools of The New School, www.newschool.edu, a unique urban university in New York City's Greenwich Village, 66 West 12th Street, New York, NY 10011.
